We are Spud Publishing Inc.

We are a group of friends following our passions, to make your passions come true! Our roots are small potatoes, and ever growing as we work to support and produce books we want to see on the shelves, and in hand.

Our Mission

We are a Traditional Indie Publisher, based out of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and currently serving writers in North America.

Our mission all started with Debut, a project of passion and learning, and our first official publication. In its conception, Debut was only ever meant to be a small, one time project, to prove we could do it. So we did.

We are an ever growing publisher, owned by a creative team, and dedicated to making a fair and enjoyable experience for those who choose to partner with us. We believe in supporting and building a team with our authors and artists that brings everyone out on top. At the end of the day, we want to create an experience that we ourselves would feel good about being a part of.

We continue to prioritize the marriage of writing and art in all our endeavours, as we believe one is best served in the accompaniment of the other. This model has been a part of our ideals and goals since day one.

And we are passionate about what we do!

The Anxious One

Irish Williams

Coming along for the ride, and gladly shouldering much of the practical work, Irish is the motor that keeps our progress rolling. Also residing in Vancouver, British Columbia, she keeps her nose to the ground, seeking opportunity and partnerships with local businesses and artists. Being talented in both writing, and art, Irish often bridges the gap of the mediums and experiences.
